What a great day for this Express!

Today we’re celebrating Labor Day here in the USA.  This is a day set aside to honor working men and women everywhere.

So, if you have issues with you job or you simple want a job this might help.  Especially, if you are asking for the “perfect job.”   Why don’t I have it?  How do I get one?  What am I doing wrong?

Maybe you’re not detaching.

What is detachment exactly?  How do I detachment?  What is the secret to detachment?

We hope you enjoy our answers.

Hey. Listen to this MP3 or download and take it with you. It’s only 15 minutes but it packs a punch. And let us know what you think.

I really like these RichDreamsExpress sessions. Two questions which probably pose difficulties for lots of folk succinctly and clearly answered with Tom & Penelope’s careful and quite amusing answers. Liked the example of Penelope in the Clown suit which was funny as well as a good example. We really are here for the journey: the achievement getting there is half the fun. Seeing what turns up when you do detach from the how is interesting and I am firmly convinced that the Universe has a sense of humour considering the way it delivers at times. “Detachment” is a tricky concept for many of us to grasp, but if you let go and have faith this stuff does deliver.
Keep the sessions going Tome 7 Penelope.

    Tom and Penelope,

these questions were from me and i have to fill you in on what happened concerning my “perfect job”. it is perfect for me and that is how i use that word “perfect”. i know you don’t like us to use that word, but it has very specific meaning to me. not long after i sent that question in, i was led to the absolute correct job (that just isn’t strong enough) for me. 🙂

the day after i gave my notice at the place where i was exposed to the mold, i asked God “what am i supposed to do?” the answer i got was “nothing”. i was like, i must have made that up, but there really was nothing more at this point that i could do. i was recovering from the mold exposure and i had applied to about every place i could apply to. then i asked “how long will this take?” i heard/saw “2 weeks”. i tend to see and hear the answer at the same time. anyway, about a week and a half later, i had an email that showed a staffing agency had a job that sounded just right for me and i had worked with this agency before. over the weekend i felt “moved” to send an email with my resume and expressing my interest in the job. i wasn’t sure i would hear anything because the last job through them had been rough, but i thought very highly of the lady i worked with at the agency. she called me Monday. she sent them my resume and called me Tuesday, asking if i could meet with one of the company owners on Wednesday at 9am. I said no, but i could meet them on Thursday at 10am. things were set up and Thursday morning i get in my car and try to set up my GPS because i don’t know this area of town at all. my GPS will not take the address. i had to rush back inside and print off directions from my computer. i knew this was my job and this GPS thing happening made me think, “this really must be my job”. i was 40 minutes early, waited outside until the approved time. within 7-10 minutes of the interview i was hired. i love the job, i work with 3 men and i am the only woman. no drama, no games, just work and they treat me very well. they told me up front that i would have lots of down time and i have finished several books i had not been able to finish before. the pay is good for a 4-person company and once i fulfill the contract with the staffing agency, it should be even better. they let me go early just about every day and yet insist on paying me for a full day. every few days they let me know i am doing a great job and that i am way ahead of what they expected. i did get the perfect job for me and i am enjoying it thoroughly.

i barely did anything to get the job and only took inspired action, and i was hired 2 weeks to the day that God told me it would be 2 weeks. that is what is most exciting for me.

    Linda.
