(Continued)
My wife and
I have been married for 30 years last July. We have gone through
a great deal together, as have our children. Yes, we consider ourselves
rich. But then so do those who used to think of us as their poor
friends.
It is hard even
for me to believe that less than five years ago I declared bankruptcy
for the second time. My family was evicted from our home. The four
drivers in our family shared two junkie cars, neither of which could
be trusted to make it to the post office and back on a regular basis.
But now, I am rich.
How rich is
rich? There are many people who make far more money than I do (right
now). Think about Bill Gates, Steven Spielberg, Shaqille O'Neal
or the guy who owns the dealership where I bought my car. They,
undoubtedly, have more money and more things than I do. I am happy
for them. They are doing great. I hope they get richer. I certainly
intend to get richer.
Rich is not
having more
money. Rich is knowing the
secret to getting everything
you ever wanted in your
life when you want it.
I am rich because
I've learned the secret. The secret that was right under my nose
my whole life. A secret as old as Abraham and as powerful and full
of possibility as a newborn child. A secret that came to me on the
wings of power and might, sent from the heavens above. A secret
that made me Rich Beyond My Wildest Dreams.
