I just got off the phone with someone today who was preparing to go into battle. Not in the traditional war-like sense but the kind of battle where the opponents are armed with words.

She was anxious and nervous and battle weary from previous confrontations but she knew she needed to face this. She called me for last-minute resolve and encouragement. A boost of confidence and maybe an idea to cling to in the midst of the assault. A “St. Crispin’s Day” kind of speech.

I told her “No matter what is said, only let LOVE in. Only LOVE is real. Everything else is fear and that is an illusion. ”

We are in charge of our Earthly experience. We may not be in charge of every event that affects our lives, but we are in control of our reactions. We can choose to only see the love in any situation. Love is powerful and love can guide us to where we need to go. Love is the key. Love is the power. Love is the answer.

Words are energy and yes they do hurt just like sticks and stones. They carry power and potency and potential. You carry that too. And you can call on an energy stronger than ANY word war. Elevate your expectations to LOVE. Turn your dial up and expect only Love to Touch You.

Because you can’t make a choice for
Someone else’s words or intent. But you can protect yourself with the only real power we have…Love.

Love allows us to see the best in ourselves and others which then calls forth the best in all of us. Look for the love in every situation. And allow love to pervade your every thought.
