Dear
Diane,
Thank you for your message. I am enjoying the ebook and excited
about what will come.
I have
not yet come across putting dates next to my dreams. Nearly
every goal setting system in the world advises to do this
, you know: 10 year plans, 5 year plans and so on. What is
your take on that? After all, I want a house in my local area
and I would like to do that within a year. How would that
fit in with the system?

Douglas,
We're so appreciative of your support for our work. I'll give
you some ideas on your question but ultimately you must make
your own decisions.
This system is different from traditional goal setting plans.
We write down desires in the present and affirmative only
as an order to the Universe. We don't specify time so as not
to limit the Creative force. Our lives can and do change so
rapidly in today's world that time can set constraints rather
than be a source of motivation.
Who would have imagined 5 years ago that so many millions
of people throughout the world would be regularly engaged
in commerce in the tens of billions of dollars through the
internet? Oh, surely there were pundits setting their goals
but from all I've read the "gurus" of traditional
business were all wrong in their estimates.
We don't want you to limit yourself or your life in any way.
We teach that your life is a process of learning and growing
and attainment and that you will become the person who has
the Bentley or yacht (or whatever your heart desires) at the
correct or proper time. We avoid words like perfect because
we and this world are imperfect.
About your house. Just list everything that you would like
in your house. Talk about it being easily affordable, etc
and some other phrases you might use are: My house is seeking
me as I am seeking it. I know my house instantly. My house
finds me.
These words are not tradional goal setting words either because
the big secret is that you just Ask and Receive, get out of
the way and let your Good come to you. By trying to control
the means we often stop our Good. Learning to receive is much
harder than learning to ask.
Might I suggest that you join one of our Teleseminars. We
hold them the 2nd Sat. of each month at 7:30 a.m. Pacific
time. Tom & Penelope conduct the 2 hours and it is great
to have specific questions. The next one is Saturday January
11, 2004. We announce it through our regular email messages
and on the Web site.
Live your dreams every day,
Diane Pauley
