I have
read your book with great interest and have now passed it
on to my 15 yr old daughter who has started acting on it.
I would like to know about tithing. Can it be for services
received. My son and I do Taekwondo because I believed in
the spiritual and philosophy of the sport. I was unable to
pay the fees for sometime and so stopped going but the teacher
rang me and
said that that was not what Taekwondo teaches so invited me
and my son to keep going which we have.
I also donate my possessions that I no longer require to charity
organizations. I did write a letter to God last week asking
for help as I was short of money and I received a tax check
which was ear marked for other things but circumstances enabled
me to use at that time.
I thank you for your book as it has enlightened me and is
helping me progress though life.

Dear
Helen,
We appreciate your note and thank you for your interest in
our work. Choosing where to tithe is a very personal decision.
If your intent is to thank God for his blessings and to support
the place (or people) from whom you receive spiritual "food",
then that is tithing. If a class fulfills these spiritual
needs for you, then yes, it can be tithing.
Do not
confuse spiritual giving with charitable giving. It is a fine
line but let the test be your spiritual growth. Have you gone
to our website and gotten the newsletters? We have more information
on tithing there, too.
We wish
you and your family the very best.
Live your dreams every day,
Diane Pauley
