Dear
Tom and Penelope,
Greetings
from Florida.
We've
just finished your book as our study in a prosperity class
at our church. I've learned so much spirit freeing information--Thank
You. I do have a problem that I would like your guidence with.
I am deeply
in debt after having tried very hard for too many years to
keep my business open. I barely make enough money to pay the
minimum payment on my bills.
I am a
single woman trying to put my daughter through college. The
emotional toll of this debt is driving me crazy. I feel like
such a failure. I don't want to embarrass my family so I'm
a pro at faking it. Do you think you could shed some light
into my darkness.
Thank
You.
Sincerely,
Carol.

Carol,
Just last
night I reread the chapter "Faking it." Maybe you
should too. From time to time we all feel like we are losers.
We feel the embarrassment of apparent failure only to realize
that there is no such thing as failure. The only people who
fail are the ones who never try. As long as you are doing
what you feel in heart is what you should be doing. As long
as your intent is good. You cannot fail. You cannot be a failure.
It isn't possible.
You are
you. That's it. That's all there is to it. You are a fantastic
person. you are real and you are trying to do good. Everything
in your life is good.
The bottom
line is every decision breaks down to A or B. Either you choose
A or you choose B. You go right or you go left. Up or Down.
And it doesn't matter what you choose as long as your intention
is good. Didn't God put both choices there? Would he steer
you wrong? Can that which is all Good be even partially bad?
Of course not.
You need
to let go of a lot of garbage. I suggest you write a few letters
of forgiveness to every one who you feel has done you wrong.
Including your parents and yourself. Write down every low
rotten thing. Every disgusting stupid wrong. Fire one off
to God if you're angry with him. Then forgive whoever it is.
Write that you forgive them. Then burn the letters.
Forgiveness
is for you. It releases you from living in that junk. I allows
you to live in the present where your good is. Forgive, so
you can live.
Good Luck,
Tom &
Penelope
