Apologizing the Apology!

First of all thank you. Thank you for all the powerful comments about apologies. They were great eye-openers and I learned a lot about our headline-driven-social-medial-world.

For me writing happens. Yes it takes time and effort and a healthy dose of sit-on-the-buttness, but it almost happens TO me. I don’t plan things out and research what people want to hear about and craft something around that. I show up, open up and get written through. It’s the only way I know how.

And in writing even when you feel strongly about something it is easy to have self doubt. It’s natural. I’m not doing a research paper. I’m not usually quoting other people. I’m drawing conclusions about God, The Universe and the Greatness of every human being on Earth. I’m working to inspire every reader to reach for their Highest Good and Elevate the human experience. Kinda big stuff.

So you really need to see that “stop apologizing” isn’t about external conflict. It is about the internal struggle. Writers know a lot about this struggle.

Each one of us has a mission, a passion, and a reason to be here and be unique. The trick is to find the greatness inside you and own it. Even when it looks like you could ruffle some feathers. Don’t stop yourself before you start.

Love and Kindness are paramount. In any situation and any relationship. They have to come first. And when your intent is to raise people up and elevate humanity, love is the power to use.

When I posted my last blog I was referring to internal conflicts not external ones. I was hoping to help people out of self doubt and self sabotage. To encourage even one person with a new idea to hold fast to their vision and not give it up just because the road ahead may be rocky.

If you make a mistake it’s ok to apologize. If you want to heal a relationship that needs healing, it’s ok to apologize. If you hurt someone either intentionally or unintentionally, it’s ok to apologize. And according to my dear friend Jillian, when you are from Canada apologizing happens a lot as a matter of politeness. That’s ok too.

Just don’t apologize for who you are.

I love you all. You inspire me everyday!!
