Desperate vs. Inspired

Desperate wanting vs. inspired wanting/expecting

How do you change your feelings from desperation into excited anticipation? Inspiring and energizing your desires?

Making yourself shift from “all I see is what I can’t have” to “I’m so close I can taste it.”

This is how visualization can truly transform. It isn’t just the image of what you want. Looking and longing will keep you stuck. Planning and expecting moves you closer. You must find the feeling of already having it and enjoying it.

Think of a time as a child you hoped and wished for something that came true. That feeling of delightful, delicious satisfaction and pride. It is very different from the “finally” feeling we all hold at bay as adults as we wait for our desires to be made manifest.

Children are simply happy they now have what they want. It is how they go from meltdown to giggles in a nanosecond.  Adults are angry it hasn’t happened yet, then feel bitter relief when it finally comes.

Gracefulness and gratitude.

Being positive vs. acting positive

Penelope sent this to me from her cell yesterday.  She was telling me how she answered an email (different from the one I answered on visualizing).

I thought you should see it, because this is something we all need right now.  Today!

The future’s bright, I’ve seen it.  And I had the ultimate cat bird’s seat.

You are looking great!

sometimes i just can’t get it in my mind, but i might have the “essence” of it. i have also had things manifest without “feeling” it. i love you and your family because you make things fun and you have the best attitudes about everything. you really lift me up higher and higher. thank you.

will give you a testimonial too. 🙂 i had to give my notice to a friend i was working for because of a reaction to mold. the next day i was praying and asked God what i was supposed to do. i “heard” and “saw” the word “nothing”. (i usually hear and see my answers at the same time.) i also asked how long it would take and i “heard” and “saw” “2 weeks”. i did nothing much at all until i was “moved” to send an email to a staffing agency that had helped me in the past. they had a position i was interested in. within 5-10 minutes into the interview, i was hired and i start August 12th. i did almost nothing to get the job and knew it was mine. i was hired on the first interview and it was 2 weeks to the day that i was told i was hired. you have played a big part in the good things happening in my life.
