Dear Thomas, Penelope and Marilyn -

On a flight returning from California to Pennsylvania, I read your book. I have a brief story to share with you and I have one very important question.

The story:

After reading your book and immediately understanding your message, I was on the way to the local mall via a back road. Suddenly the traffic slowed down due to the wet roads. I turned my head to the right to take in the lovely scenery and lo and behold there standing on the lawn was a beautiful hawk! At first I thought that maybe it had been injured because I had often seen hawks soaring above me as I drove to work, but never, never, just standing on the ground. I was tempted to stop, but did not because others were with me in the car. I decided that if the hawk was still there upon my return, I would stop and get it some help. If it was gone, I would assume it was a message to me from God! Of course, I am sure you know the end of this story ---- the hawk was gone. I am singing your song and loving the zest your information has brought to me. I have been reading and listening to CDs --- Marianne Williamson, Deepak Chopra, Stuart Wilde, Wayne Dyer, etc. Your sweet book brough it all home for me. Thank you so much!

My question:

I don't understand what you mean about tithing for my spiritual development? I have just purchased several of your books and wish to send them to friends.....this will revenue will go to you, and I believe your book is contributing to my spiritual evolution. Is this a good example of what you mean, or am I crazy. Examples would be great because if charity doesn't count, I'm at a loss. Thanks so much!
